How do I set up trusted contacts?
Open the app, go to Contacts, and add people you trust. Make sure SMS permission is allowed so emergency alerts can be sent.
Does SafeBuddy work without internet?
SafeBuddy is designed with an offline-first mindset. When data connectivity is unavailable, critical alerts can fall back to SMS where possible.
When is my location shared?
Location is intended to be shared during SOS or safety failures (like missed check-ins), so your trusted contacts have helpful context.
I’m not receiving SMS alerts. What should I check?
Check SMS permission, your device’s background restrictions, and that your SIM can send SMS. If the issue continues, email support with your device model and Android version.
